A simple multi‐wavelength spectroscopic method for the determination of carboxyl group content in nanocellulose

چکیده
Abstract This study describes a multi-wavelength spectroscopic method for the determination of carboxyl group content nanocellulose. Methylene blue (MB) was used as color indicator, which can bind to groups in nanocellulose form R-COOMB complex with binding ratio 1:1, although spectrums MB and at 500–750 nm are overlapped, solid impurities could cause spectral interference. To solve these issues, measurement on mixture solution technique mathematical model were developed, allowing be quantified. The results showed that has good precision accuracy compared those measured by reference method. is simple requires only small sample size testing thus makes it suitable related research applications.
